I acknowledge that Spruce Grove, Alberta, is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, subject to Treaty No. 6, forever. Parkland County, Stoney Plain, and Spruce Grove occupy territory that are the contemporary Traditional Use lands of of the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, Michel First Nation, Paul First Nation, Alexander First Nation, and Enoch Cree Nation, with intersecting interest of other Treaty No. 6 First Nations. These lands are shared with Métis rights holders including Lac St. Anne Métis, and the Otipemisiwak Métis Government-North Saskatchewan River Territory, Métis individuals, and the Metis Settlements of Alberta. These Nations and their peoples, by recognition of the Constitution of Canada, rightfully assert unextinguished Aboriginal Title to these lands, along with a primary right of Canadian Citizenship under Scrip, Treaty, and birth, and thereby an equitable share to the Commonwealth of Canada.
I work in and among Indigenous communities and organizations. I extend goodwill and friendship to all, with sincere gratitude. I am personally grateful for my relationships with First Nations, the Metis Settlements, and Métis peoples of Alberta. My business promotes Indigenous peoples, stories, values, and friendship.
